My name is Eduardo Lux, I'm 38 years old.
For the past 14 years I have worked as a primary and elementary school teacher.
I have been serving with the Cadanino ministry since 2016. What drew me to it was the idea of teaching without placing limits on children’s learning. I truly believe that every child deserves an opportunity to develop their abilities.
Since I started working at the center, it has grown greatly year after year, both in the number of students and quality of the programs we teach. Being a part of this team has been a great help to me personally and I have grown in my faith in God and the understanding of the importance of service to others.
I am very grateful for the chance I have to word here as my passion is teaching, especially children in this neighborhood. I strongly believe that teaching them to learn is a valuable tool for their lives.
I consider myself blessed to be able to serve children in my capacity as a teacher and coordinator of the Cadanino center in Colonia Santa Fe. Day in and day out I see the situation in which these children live and it motivates me to help them. I know just how much they need the word of God in their lives.
My role is that of a guide to these children. I am passionate about learning and I want to help them learn something new every day.
I have been amazed to see how much our students have changed in the time they have been with us. The classes we teach have an impact in their lives and I love to see the progress they make and how their parents have become very committed to having their children in our program.
In my time working here I have come to see just how big the needs are of the families that we serve. They face a lot of challenges in the environment in which they live and they really need an understanding of who God is and what he wants for them.
Cadanino has been a great support to many of these families and it has been a big blessing in my life.
My hope and prayer is that I can continue learning and growing in my faith so I can be a blessing to our students and help to change their lives for the better.
